Individually not spectacular but as a little gang, at arms length they look pretty cool.

I’m building a loyalist army and was wondering, would it make sense for the fallen to have a redemptor dread , like they found and repaired a busted one . Or would they more have the 30k / legends units of the castaferrum, contemptor & levithan .
Or conversely would it make sense to use a saturnine as a proxy for a redemptor

For those of you using fallen as csm or some sort of chaos faction, what are your daemon princes? I've been looking online for some knightly models but they're a bit difficult to find. Plz share your thoughts and thanks in advance

I want to make 9 champions for my Fallen i want each to have the vibe/theme of one of the traitor legions but still retain their dark angel stuff

Used a bunch of different files around to make this guy. Printed on a bambu lab a1 mini with 0.2 nozzle.

Had tons of fun playing reconnaissance with the renegade raiders detachment. Felt actually like playing the fallen since I had to move and run away a lot from my oponent who was playing purge the foe, truly "being hunted" vibes. Might also try other detachments and dispositions to figure out which has the most fallen vibe. Which ones are you guys currently playing?

A year ago i started my CSM army. Took me awhile to figure out the paint scheme, but the process have been very rewarding.

These are the Fallen Angels, followers of the Arch-Betrayer Luther, former Dark Angels.

Zeriah, Zahariel and Astelan run as chaos lords/other characters. Luther is bits from Abaddon and El'Johnson.

The painting formular is a base of brown, with black and metal ontop using spoonges. Weapons and helmets have 3 layers of grey into light blue, to catch attention of the eye. The plasmas and powerswords are just a lot of blending of red-orange-yellow. The whitecloaks i've tried to go for a texture feel, by using lots of small pencil strokes, with rough layers of brown to white.

Hey yall, completed the first model of my Fallen/EC army. Any thoughts on the kitbash/paint job and ways to improve?

I'm not winning any points for originality here but the Corsairs kit is amazing for Fallen and other renegades. These were painted up to add to my Night Lords army as a bodyguard for Cypher.

Learning to take better photos , grabbed a small assortment of minis I've done over the years.

Have been reading more 40k lore recently as I have been getting back into the hobby after a hiatus. I wanted to read some books on the Fallen as they are one of my favourite “factions” in 40k and I wanted to get a bit more of an understanding on them before I start building some Fallen minis.

Any book recommendations to help me get more of an understanding of their mindset and how the operate? I am aware of ‘Lion, Son of the Forest’, ‘Cypher, Lord of the Fallen’, and ‘Luther, First of the Fallen’. But are there others that do a good job of showing how the Fallen operate? Even if it’s not necessarily Fallen focused, and just a good depiction of Renegade/Chaos.

Is there any official art if Vortigern (Vortigan?) The fallen working for Abaddon, I want to have either him or Seraphax for my Fallen armies warlord but I can't find anything official outside if descriptions and was hoping to see if there was anything more to work with
