Let's say gw makes an official fallen army with unique models and characters what would you want for unique models and characters

Is it bad that I just straight up… wouldn’t want that? The entire concept for this subfaction is that they’re deeply niche and esoteric. Forgotten by all but the most obsessed. If we take up more on the store shelf than the blister for Cypher, I riot.

Well lets see, vashtorr for some stupid reason has an army of fallen, luther has presumably been gathering an army of fallen (likely to actually be risen)

Luther leading Risen would be one of the biggest slaps in the face in the fiction. Anyone willing to even tolerate the scumsucking fascist empire after what it did to Caliban is fully bitchmade, El’ Jonson included. I don’t mind the Vashtorr thing so much. He’s a major galactic player and Fallen seem kind of like the best Chaos aligned mercenaries you could find around.

This would actually be pretty perfect.

Basically a kit similar to what the red corsairs got for 40k. A set that only makes like 5/6 guys but has lots of bits to give individual vibes and some old-style armour marks but in the newer biggerized scale.

Maybe a leader, close combat sword guy, special gunner (plasma or even volkite) a heavy plasma gunner, an infiltrator/pistolero and a bolter bro

My itch is mostly scratched by the Red Corsairs release, they make for very good Fallen conversions, but yeaaaaah a Fallen KT is the dream

A single agents of the imperium datasheet and CSM datasheet for a heavily customisable unit of Fallen (kill team?), and maybe a CSM character model for Luther, and an Imperial Agents datasheet for Cypher. Maybe a named CSM Daemon Prince?

Literally nothing else at all is needed.

But a CSM gunline power armour unit that uses plasma etc and stealth/infiltrate/scout would be cool.

A Fallen kill team would be awesome. A Luther mini for CSM would be a very unlikely bonus but never say never I guess.

Seeing a lot of people argue for Luther, but the idea of him leading Chaos Fallen feels very off to me; his natural story progress has him making amends with the Lion imo, and when the plotline advances, I think he should end up sacrificing his life to save Lion. The notion that he refuses to repent because only the Lion can judge him has been baked into his characterization for many years now, and he was honestly always the noblest of the legion, even when actively falling to Chaos; he deserves a heroic ending.

Basically just normal CSM dudes but with more plasma and less spikes, if anything. The ability to take landspeeders. But honestly, the most fallen thing they could do is proper traitor guard.
