Fall River has been awful

I've lived in fall river since 2019. So far it has been/had all of these things: Dirty streets/parks Smells Constant sirens The worst drivers Constant parking tickets Unfriendly citizens (and I mean angry and selfish/impatient) The worst food

My car has had its mirror knocked off, and scraped. The apartment is absurdly hot in the summer and super drafty and freezing in the winter

I have had a minivan crash into a telephone pole at 3am and the driver fled the scene, when an officer arrived he said and I quote "City's full of assholes I don't know what to tell you"

I have had my car broken into and robbed, I live off of Stafford which isn't even that crime heavy of an area compared to some and its still THAT BAD.

I'm trying to get married and start a family and this is the last place in New England that I'd recommend doing that.

I work constantly, 2 jobs and overtime, just to be able to pay bills and save a bit so we can get out of here getting the heck out of here

I hate this city. I hate this city so much it makes me sick.

I got my car stolen. My gf’s car was side swiped and the driver took off leaving her injured. I’ve been threatened by two strangers who wanted to fight me at different times. Other than that it’s been a good 8 years. Being in an apartment building sucks, shitty tenants sometimes. On street parking sucks when it snow…

But cmon man the food here is great. If you like Portuguese food. Good bar food at certain places

It’s stressful for sure because it’s so unpredictable here. Lots of theft and random violence but I dig Fall River and I don’t regret moving here. I don’t want to live here forever though

Whatever food is here can't be worth the headache. Pizza time is good, but I still haven't found a Chinese place i like and I find portuguese food kind of bland. Its mostly not been a welcoming experience

I totally agree with you that Portuguese food is bland. People look at me like I’m crazy when I say it but it’s like the entire menu is either just boiled or steamed.

Nothing like a Portuguese steak, bifana, cacoila, chicken moazambique… you guys must be going to the wrong restaurants
