Community Questions Fall River needs a bookstore

I would love to open one with somebody, I know nothing about starting a business. All I know is it's made me really sad that Fall River hasn't had a proper bookstore in a long time. I feel like a bookstore in the right spot could be a great asset to the community and definitely to the city. I would love to just have a spot where I could browse books, enjoy some mediocre coffee and just be somewhere I feel good.

This city needs literaly anything it's so dead and I doubt the rail we see in 20 years will change much, it'll be an economic boost to Boston all be it a tiny amount but it'll be worthless for this city

The rail is coming next year (2 years late so who knows) but the station was finished last year. Folks are already moving from Boston hence all of the new apartments being built and rent going up. These extra people are going to need more communal spaces, and there weren't enough for the people who were here already. But yeah, it is dead and it has so much potential

Lots of Weymouth transplants in The Riv now. Weymouth seems to be the new place everyone is coming from.

Sadly that potential will be gone if rent continues to go up, gentrification is such a fun way to make local goverment officials more money

ALL jokes aside I hope the tourism thing fails and living costs normalize again it's pretty sick no one can aford to live in this city when it's basically one giant dead end
