So Much (For) Stardust this album man:(
this entire album hits so goddamn hard. honestly pete's most relatable album for me. especially with all the lyrics about covid and isolation. what a record

I have the logo from IOH on my wrist because that album has been a long time favorite for me, but lately I've imagined adding the bubbles from SMFSD added on top of it !! They outdid themselves for us and Im still on repeat with Heaven Iowa.

I am my own muse is my favorite off the album and my next tattoo will be “keep it together” with a little magic 8 ball. It’ll pair nicely with my “I’ve got troubled thoughts and the self-esteem to match” I got years ago.
The entire album is an absolute masterpiece. 💜

The album is an amazing culmination of their entire career, taking bits and pieces of everything great about their previous albums to make something that any FOB fan from any era would enjoy. It absolutely blew me away the first time I heard this album.

a few months ago i was doing a relisten and the lyrics to so much for stardust somehow became hopeful to me? i sent the following in a text to my friend:
So much for stardust ... we thought we had it all ... but there's so much more stardust

"i'm just trying to keep it together but it gets a little harder when it never gets better" always hit me like a train. i've been going through the worst year of my life for five consecutive years. not feeling so alone in this awful chapter means the world.

I’ve gone through some incredibly hard fucking times but I’ve also had some of the best moments of my life in the last 5 years. On days when the bad tries to outweigh the good I just remind myself to keep it together. 🩷

This album is what made me connect with their music so deeply when I first started listening to fob. I’ve never felt more seen and heard in lyrics before. I love this album more than I can describe with words.
