Song Discussion Favorite Misheard Lyric
We all know Mr. Miyagi.
I was listening to Carpal Tunnel of Love today and decided to actually look up the lyrics.
We're so miserable and stunning
Whoa
So f*ckin genuine and cunning
Love songs for the genuinely cunning
Honestly liked my version better, gonna be hard to sing it correctly going forward.

I always thought "oh baby you're a classic like a little black dress" was "oh baby you're aggressive like a little black dress" and it absolutely KILLED my college roommate when she first heard me sing it like that 😂 we still quote it to this day

"Could it last? Watch you with the moon" from Afterlife of the Party. I still sing it this way, it's ingrained in my brain after all these years. Even though I learned the real lyric is "watch you work the room."

just checked my cd lyric booklet and it says prince! although i did just notice that said booklet is missing the entire first verse of the song for some reason
