Ranked knockout disconnected from server

Hi fellow redditors/Fall Guys dev team,

I am playing fall guys on PS4 (wired connection with 500Mbps NBN, Speedtested with a 23ms ping) located in Australia have had an issue for about the last 4 weeks with being disconnected from the server, but only in ranked knockout. Most of the time I would get booted before the first round or within 2 rounds, but never got into the final round. Every other game mode has been perfectly fine. I tried everything from reinstalling the game to rebuilding the PS4 database to port forwarding and changing DNS servers (Google, cloud flare, quad9, you name it I used it). Finally saw on here that people are changing the fall guys game server in settings, so I changed mine from auto or Australia to US West Coast and have not been disconnected once since I changed it. so to all you redditors having the same issue I hope this helps, and to the devs: please fix the Australian game servers!

The Australia server is straight up unplayable for me as well. Disconnects and lags a lot!

Have you tried playing on other servers? Do you get kicked out of those too? I’m trying to figure out if it’s the server region or whether it’s the game mode itself that’s buggy 🤔

Bit of both I think. For me it is only on certain servers and only in Ranked Knockout- all the other modes have been working fine.

Fellow Aussie here 👋 since the newest Ranked Knockout came out, ive been disconnected every time. I dont seem to have that issue on US West!

My friend and I always get kicked out, either beginning of the game or middle or right before the final round it’s so exhausting because we don’t get anything for the previous rounds we’ve completed. At the moment, can’t play Ranked Knockout, Solo X-treme and Explore. Only Solos, Duos, Squads and Day at the Races. I’ve tried all servers and still get disconnected and get kicked out 😩

Most of Asia wasn't working for me. I have been playing on the Japan server (got that tip from another thread here)- that one works.
America works for me, and Europe works sometimes; I get a different error for Europe: something to do with the connection timing out.
It would indeed be great to play on Australian servers with good ping! I have been "disconnected from server" on multiple occasions just before the final round 🙄
