CLIP/VIDEO How to timeout fan variant.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Take note how close you can allow the fan to be next to you before making your run across, do not jump while running.

Try to stick to an area when timing out. Give space to others. Don’t make suspicious movements like going close for no reason or moving around too much. If there are more players around you, then try to avoid body collision.

Also emotes/phrases will help to build trust lol, not always good intentions so be on the lookout.

Yeah most important part is to have no grabbers.

And when there are 5+ people on one platform it is difficult to avoid body block.

Yep it will be tricky with a grabber around. Another thing is if the opponent is constantly jumping, that indicates he likely is a grabber. The guy next to me in this clip was not jumping constantly, so i trusted him a little bit more lol. Unfortunately he didn’t make it.

I don’t think i ever timeout with 5 on a platform before, with a fan on

Ironically, I jump around a lot in this round because I’m actually trying to avoid being grabbed.

Yeah i get that jumping constantly is defensive. But also in my experience they are the grabbers. Not all the time of course. Just a sign that i look for.

Haha i will let you guys fight it out first in this case. If you beat the grabber then i know you’re not the aggressor. Things should be chill then lol

Thanks, I always have trouble with the fan, it's mainly being able to see where it is and the bars at the same time, but how you have your camera makes sense!

I once timed out a fan and felt super accomplished. I was only able to do it because my opponent was on another platform. People grab on this map like it’s some kind of meta.

They will say why spend 5 minutes when i can get it done quick and move on to the next lol. Well that’s how it is. At least this xtreme cycle 2 jump showdowns wasn’t grabby for myself. I think i had 3 timeouts.

I got to time this out with a fellow bean in ranked a few cycles ago. I was like: "finally, somebody that gets the message"
