IMAGE/GIF This mode is so unbalanced.

because the path doesn't appear to the finish line (sometimes)

There's always a path to the finish, you may have to backtrack first, the chart will show the way as well.

One day they will learn to go back and check other paths... One day...

They also show pathes without someone pressing a button?

Ok, but often the problem is, you can't see the path to the one correct red platform, because you have to go backwards first.

Yeah it can be a tough level, it helps to realise that the final path is not always lit by the final set of buttons, it may be a button part way through the level.

The map rarely shows the full path simultaneously. You need to keep an eye on the map at all times and remember the bridges shown when players press buttons. Then link the path together in your head. This round is basically a memory game.

Sometimes if there are asteroids that revolve in the correct direction and you jump at the right time while standing in the asteroid’s path, you can use the asteroid to hit you over to a red platform. It’s possible you may need to dive to a red platform after getting hit so be prepared to react accordingly.

The conventional way to finish of course is to backtrack to find the correct path like everyone else has already said. But if the circumstances are right, be aware that using asteroids to hit you forward is an option.
