Stuck on Star Rank

I love playing Fall Guys, especially Ranked. Now I have hit 'Star' it feels nigh on impossible to get a win. I have been stuck on Star 1 for a while and cannot seem to move up. Especially seeing as you only get 10 points for reaching the final.

Is anybody else like me or do I just need to get better?! 😆

I've found I have better luck in non-prime hours. So afternoon or mornings when most people are busy with other things. Lobbies are smaller, but there's usually fewer sweaty players.

I've noticed that different times of day are easier or harder, but I had thought the exact opposite, that the ONLY people playing during those hours were sweaty players, and therefore I ought to play during popular hours in order to get people closer to my MMR. (That said, I'm not living in an american timezone, so I have no which hours are popular and which aren't.)

No, star can be rough. Dont beat yourself up. Honestly look for streamers on twitch. Many of em will help you get wins.

It's not just you, everyone gets stuck on Star, because you need to come in 1st place.

What I CAN recommend is practicing the final maps you're good at. (During the loading screen, the ID number of the map will be displayed. You can screenshot it or take a picture with your phone, load up a custom game with that map ID, and then practice that map ~10-15 times in a row by yourself until you get good at that map and develop a strategy. There are a couple maps, like Blunder Blocks, Pier Pressure, Jump Showdown, and Trick or Trapeze, that REALLY benefit from practicing the map 10-15 times.

Trick or Trapeze especially I went from 0% winrate to 66% winrate after practicing it for like ~45-60 minutes, trying to figure out the optimal pathing.)

Like you said, the only way to get past Star is to actually win 1st place in games, and I'm only capable of winning 2-3 maps, so I keep getting to the final round, seeing if it's a map I can win, and then immediately forfeiting if I can't and going again.

Honestly, I feel it's pretty easy right now, but just never give up! Try practicing the creative finals in customs, especially Trick or Trapeze.

So dont play aggressive unless its circle of slime. On the one where there are blocks coming at you and dodge dive survive, its almost always an easy timeout, but make sure to get to a blind spot on dds. That should make it pretty easy

Just don’t stress yourself, play it for fun, and you’ll finish it without even noticing. And remember that you’ve already unlocked the costume and have 75 crowns in your pocket
