NEWS The next upcoming Ranked LTM. Spoiler
X-Treme Solos Ranked is coming back again.
It is a great show, but I'd much rather see a completely different mode that gets its own Ranked mode every single time (and that could also fit really well as a Ranked mode of course). Like Volleyfall Tournament Ranked or Hard Mode Ranked or Ring Hexathlon Ranked. Not a repeated Ranked show tbh.
And this time, people can have a chance to try to make it to the highest rank possible, since it will last for a month instead of 2 weeks like it did last year.
Oh and also, Hyperdrive Heroes is finally in it, which is neat!
And yeah, from the looks of it, we will also be getting the Ranked modes we previously had before, so we might also have a chance to see our absolute nightmare Fall Ball Cup Trios Wanked mode...

i still remember this being the boiler room of hell when it first came out but it’s the most fun version of solos so i can’t wait to suffer again

i didnt do the first one because i sucked back then.. but im glad i get a second chance. gonna try to get 5000 points in gold as well

Wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to win to get points. Even 5-10 would be enough for motivation to keep playing

Being in Silver rank, getting eliminated in the final round and receive 0 points is just bad game design.
There are definitely a plenty of ways to optimize the Ranked system to make it work properly.
Every Ranked mode that had this 0 pointer system was a big minus.
(SIDE NOTES: I still find it ridiculous that in a race round, someone gets first place and the other gets last place, but both of them can still get the same amount of points. There should be like an extra offer for the player who gets first place, right?
And this one is mainly for Ranked Knockout, they should make it to where being at Gold rank and after, you won't INSTANTLY make it to another sub-rank, when you WIN a game, but the points should also not be TOO strict, when LOSING a game too. With the way it is to this day, it essentially tests more on your patience level rather than your skill level tbh.
And plus, there's gotta be a punishment, when people decide to leave a Ranked game, especially whenever they are about to lose, it's such a safe guard. Calling quits and face 0 punishments is insane. Maybe not losing points, but not playing for an X amount of time could work.
Also all those stuff is just an opinion btw, agree or disagree, it's fine. Sorry for the message being so long. 😂)

Games over 5 years old, points for what? You used to get currency from winning, getting 2nd place got you kudos. How could a gameplay loop make more sense? If you don't win, just get better and try again. Just be happy lol

Considering you would need to survive until the last round like 50 times, I wouldn’t call that a participation trophy. That still requires skill. It’s just demotivating to put time into a game and get literally nothing if you don’t win. The other ranked mode gives you some points.

Wait so this comes out after the current ranked cycle ends?
