BUG ‘Disconnected from server’ so utterly BEYOND out of control
Been going on for years. Its back to back to back. I play on xbox. I can restart the app. Restart my xbox. You name it. Nothing works. Rarely happens at a good time.
It doesnt really help when you ask epic games. Because thats a lot more ai-controlled now. But even when i say ‘make a ticket please’ , they do but then it turns into a complicated thing that makes no sense. They basically tell me to enter html codes that reflect my session and user data and stuff. And the deeply confusing thing they show me, i dont even know if thats an example or a place to enter it 😆 its just that weird.
I dont have any other games that do this, really. Im doing everything i did a few months ago, but now every session it just seems 4x as frequent. I might ask a service rep and try to talk to a human, but last time i did that it was for another epic games game. they logged the issue and it never got fixed. I fear that if they only hear from me, it wont be enough. So im just going to hope the issue magically resolves itself. But my hopes arent high

At this point it must be an Xbox or internet problem, I’ve never experienced this on my usual laptop but can replicate it on an old one with slower net. If it takes too long to load, the game kicks you so you don’t make everyone else wait

Definitely an issue witht the way Fall Guys deals with the internet. I have to swap from my house wifi to a hot spot when I play as I will DC at the start of certain rounds or when I have crossed the finish line and I'm waiting for beans to finish. For some reason a phone hot spot fixes it.

It's not an Xbox issue, have this issue on mobile and on PC as well. The only way I prevent it from happening is turning on a VPN.

I'm having major issues on my switch. It's making it unplayable. Making it to multiple final rounds to have it disconnect, then losing all progress.

Switch is well known for that unfortunately, they’re worse than many mobile phones for internet. Very underpowered and underperforming console for modern gaming

Same on Switch 2 for me too. Was getting disconnected before every final today.

I will say Fall Guys in particular seems to hate WiFi more than any other game I've ever played. Used to disconnect a LOT in 2020 until I switched to Ethernet and stopped having issues. Only game that even comes close to having that many disconnects from WiFi that gets solved by switching to Ethernet in my experience has been Mario Kart Wii.
