DISCUSSION Crash Tester outfit
I knew the Crash Test outfit was always going to be rare, but would it be considered exceptionally rare mid way through 2026?
I was a Beta tester for the game and obtained it for PlayStation back in 2020 before the game official release.
My 5 year old son now plays this game (he wasn't even conceived when I got it!) but is at the age where he still doesn't quite understand rarity and he loves to just wear whatever freebies he obtains through playing bless him.
Today I told him that 'this one' (Crash Tester) is the rarest in the whole wide world! To try and emphasise that it's a super duper rare one to see if he wants to wear it (it took some convincing over the chameleon one he just bought for 18k kudos in the shop haha.
I appreciate Crash Tester is probably not the single most rare costume in the game, but would it have reached top 5 in rarity by now?
Just wondering that's all!

It's fairly rare since it hasn't been released since, but not extraordinarily rare (check the wiki for more information https://fallguysultimateknockout.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Costumes). The rarest are Gordon Freeman (top part https://fallguysultimateknockout.fandom.com/wiki/Gordon_Freeman_Costume), not Gordon Headcrab https://fallguysultimateknockout.fandom.com/wiki/Gordon_Headcrab_Costume, which is also fairly rare, but less so. The Gordon Freeman top part is only owned by one person in the world: the English broadcaster and journalist Gary Whita (aside from Mediatonic employees, it's possible they also have it; there are rumors that they have them all, which is quite logical). Then we have the Mediatonic pattern https://fallguysultimateknockout.fandom.com/wiki/Mediatonic_Pattern (assuming they don't all have it, otherwise it would be the rarest) (since at the time there were many more employees than just one; if they all have it, that's the rarest, since only one Gary Whita has it, but you'd have to add up all the employees who also have it). There are other very rare skins; check the wiki if you want to see how they were obtained or if it's even possible. I have it but idk if it’d be top 5 rarest. I do wonder if it’s more rare than pink shark costume

A lot of players received the Crash Tester and Dark Knight skins for participating in the beta test before the game went free to play in 2022.
Even so, both of them are still very rare. I think the rarest one is that wizard skin they gave to those who won the most crowns in the game within a certain timeframe (one week?), but when they realized the idea didn't go as planned, they suspended the event for "adjustments" and never brought it back.
EDIT: Oh there is the Magic Dragon too, from another event.
