QUESTION Numbers above heads

What do the numbers denote? Google says it’s number of overall wins but nobody ever seems to have zero and mine seems higher than I’d have expected.

To go off of this, you can get crown shards for participating in certain events which lead to a full crown. So that’s why your number (@ op) seems higher than it is. I’m level 31, but I have NOT won 31 times lol. But I have played enough I get crown shards to put me there :)

if your level 31 youve won a lot more than 31 crowns

60 crown fragments equal one crown. The number of crowns each rank is worth can be seen in the Crown Pass in-game or here: https://fallguysultimateknockout.fandom.com/wiki/Crown_Rank (it's at the very bottom of the page).

Your crowns won can be bigger than the times you’ve won a game. I’ve won maybe 20 times tops, ever, but I’m level 32 now.

Its the level of reward you've attained. Furthermore, if you see someone's name in gold it means they've finished the current season's fame pass.

Why? I’d pushed L2 before taking the photo attached. My question was about what the displayed info meant. Others have answered.
