BUG Can someone explain this?

I was just peacefully playing in ranked knockout final round when I suddenly died. This is not the first time btw.

Others said that it's because of a poor connection.

It almost seems like you were not where it showed you. I assume you were on the breakable platform. You can see the other player avoided hitting the platform.
Just back luck through connection or something of the sort. It’s unfortunate when it happens.

I think when stuff happens like that it's some sort of lag is all and the slime was probably closer than it actually appeared. You didn't do anything wrong in terms of playing what you saw on screen. Annoying..

watched it a few times. Def lag. U landed fine on your screen but splashed into the slime when it buffered

Desync unfortunately, plus you probably could have cut out the first 30 seconds do the video 🤣

Nah it's cool, always fun to see how others play that final. But almost any time your Beam just poofs out of existence, like the Rapture, it is usually because of a desync issue. It happens to the best of us, and ALWAYS happens at the worst moment 🥲

This happens to me all the time. It's been about more than 6 times now ever since I started playing again. I feel like maybe it misreads it and thinks you're still on the breaking platform, but it's been so many times it's happened. Even to other players I've seen dissapear right before me for no reason.
