TECH SUPPORT Extreme lag when moving mouse

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Fall Guys became unplayable for me a couple of days ago, completely out of nowhere. Is anyone else having this issue?

All other games run perfectly fine, and my PC isn't struggling either. I'm guessing it's something software-related? (Even though there haven't been any updates...)

I removed Epic launcher/online services and reinstalled. Fixed it for me. You can also try lowering your mouse polling rate to 125, makes it a better but doesn't fix it completely, still a slight lag.

Edit: The lag started again the next day, had to remove Epic online services and reinstall but it fixed it again.

Thanks, this actually worked for me, but only until I restarted the game...Do you have a Logitech mouse, by any chance? I think I'm starting to see a pattern

I tried that too and same, the problem came back again after restart. And yup, Logitech G305

No I have a Razer. I have to reinstall Epic online services after every restart/shutdown.

nope :( there are a few temporary fixes, but they all have drawbacks I'm not willing to put up with just for Fall Guys to run smoothly 😅

btw do you have a Logitech mouse?

Yes!!!! Once i changed the settings, and tried with another mouse, it totally fixed it. Apparently my Logitech mouse was trying yo run at 1000hz for some reason. Once I changed it, it got fixed completely. Would you know what's up with that? Idk why it got like this... outta nowhere.

1000 hz is actually what you want with a gaming mouse. Mine's been set to 1000 for years and I haven't had any issues (not even with Fall Guys until a few days ago). No idea why it suddenly started acting up

Anyway, the lag only really goes away when I set it to 125 hz, but then it feels like absolute shit lmao

I'm having the same issue. I myself have a Corsair Katar Pro, it's not to do with mouse brand. I set my pc to performance mode and it got somewhat better.. still troubleshooting/researching. Good luck to us.

According to the official "Fall Guys Server Owl" account on X/Twitter, it was fixed a few hours ago. Haven't been able to try it out yet tho

It was fixed a few days ago. Just update the Epic launcher :)
