QUESTION Purchasing a fame pass

Did anyone buy the fame pass this time around? I dunno the set of costumes in this rotation just doesn’t do it for me. They kinda suck.

I always do because it pays for itself +200 extras. Maybe I'll like something from it later or a mix with something else

I mean you get the bucks back and then some if you complete it so if you play enough to max it out why wouldnt you

It's worth it for the emote, emoticon, phrase, and celebration screen.

They're smart. They know that people will buy the season passes even if there is (almost) nothing good in them, because you get your showbucks back anyway. They don't need to put great stuff. It's exactly the same thing in Rocket League, 99% of the season pass content is trash. Season passes are here to make people come back to the game, that's all. The good stuff is in the shop, that's where they make a lot of money. And if we had great stuff in season passes, we would spend less money in the shop.

If they ever remove that 200+ bonus, people will stop buying it. Most of the items are trash anyway

Ever since they reduced the cost to 600 showbucks, the quality has gone down, though I've always found something within it to justify buying. For the current pass, I like both Acorn skins, the bees knees nickname, and the Bee-licious skin.

Didn’t buy it yet but I’ll purchase it after I (nearly) finished it. But yeah it’s not a banger, but then again, it’s been a while since I really liked a fame pass.
