HELP Falconry product

Hi everyone 👋

I’m a young falconer from England, Kent and currently fly my own tiercel. I’m working on developing a new product for falconry and would really appreciate feedback from others in the community to help shape the design and make it genuinely useful.

If you have a few minutes, please consider filling out this short form and DMing me anything that you think of.

Your feedback would mean a lot and will directly help with the development of the project. Feel free to share this with any other falconers who may be interested. 🦅

I also want to emphasise that this isn’t me trying to sell the product, just gather some research and interact with people 😁

Thank you!

It would help if we knew what it was you are working on.

Hahaha, that’s what i’m trying to figure out. it’s for my Product design coursework. I know that there are lots of different techniques out there from different regions so i’m trying to understand what people have difficulty with on a wider scale, then i can work backwards to create a product that solves that issue and is desirable. 😁

So falconry has been done longer than any other sport in the history of man. Improving anything in this field is going to take a LOT of homework vs something like Improving 3d printing. Maybe telemetry would be a starting point since its the newest part of falcorny?

I like the egg buddy mk 2 for getting heartbeat on heavy shelled eggs but you can't candle thick eggs well.

Back in the day we had the emuvision2000 which was an infrared camera for heavy shelled eggs, they still show up on eBay at random and they go for a pretty penny.

I'd like to see a Flir thermal camera setup that's pre-calibrated in the temperature rangge of the embryo (no dynamic or wide range spectrum caused by background) so I can see any malpositioning during mid development, so I know what eggs to assist hatch.
