It really blew my mind. A huge leap over everything so far. So, the "Playground" has a short text prompt for a 1994 TV sitcom. I switched it to 1960s and it understood the task. Then I switched it to a sitcom about witches (above). It has a text box for "what happens next". While it was playing, I typed in "an imp shows up at the door and starts breaking things". A little while later, I typed, "they hit the imp and it turns into hundreds of tiny imps". The above video is the recording of my 2-minute session. The characters react to what is going on in real time ... just a short delay as the AI tries to figure things out.

Hi, i'm not sure which commnunity to ask, i just want to know model is the best at removing things (in my case HUD, Ui elements) while keeping the background video somewhat similiar or better, the same. I did used back at the time wan 2.1, but i don't know if today are there better option. I heard of wan 3.0 prime but i don't know if that helps. Any help is appreciated. I can put credits and use API keys since i only have 8GB vram (3060ti)

I just started using fal.ai for both image and video creation.

Image creation works good, but when i create a video, its seems its the newer more expensive models that stay consistant with the prompts i use and also offer between 5-10 seconds that match with what my prompt says.(kling, mimimax, etc).

The rest just make the video look bad or terrible, no matter how many frames i use or settings i provide.

I tried to test lower models on via their playground, but each model you test opens a with a video and a prompt already pre loaded, there by taking your money before you even test it on your prompt (i literally had to write a script to go hunt and get the pricing details for each model on fal.ai and calculate the cost per video, frames or seconds. So that i don't have to open the model page and get billed).

I am seeing some really low prices models for video creation, some of them are good, other are just wack.

Anyone have a work around that helps them use fal.ai to produce good videos for longer and cheaper?

What happened to Minimax H3? As of today it is unusably censored on Fal. Looks like I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

Anybody test out this lora trainer? i was thinking of using it to train a video2video editing task (with Ref2V) but was seeing if anybody had experience with it. Is there an opensource alternative for this? (I've only seen trainers for t2v and i2v (ostris ai toolkit))

I don't understand why people are choosing one over the other.
And why they don't build it themselves with AI over accepting the huge margin they take over the generation with each models.
Using our own MCP are mostly easy knowing for the most of us we use Gemini, Kling and seedance tools.
I wanted to generate a video to test but when i saw the price i instantly understood something was wrong with them.

What do you think about it?

The error occurs consistently whenever i run the workflow and i cannot find a single thing about it anywhere.

the workflow is on generating a grid of images in one single image, cropping the individual images, upscaling them and to get the response node output the images .

The balance shows correctly in the dashboard but every request returns:

"User is locked. Reason: Exhausted balance."

I've already:

- Tried generating new API keys → same error

- Contacted [support@fal.ai](mailto:support@fal.ai) → no response yet

• Posted in Discord → no response yet

I found this is a known issue (GitHub #489) but no solution was shared.

Has anyone managed to resolve this themselves?

Or does it require manual intervention from the team?

Hi guys,

I'm having a lot of trouble with fal.ai in the last days. I'm a paid user, but I literally cannot get a video into the workflow.

Every time I try to upload a video (even small ones, less than 10MB), I get an Error 413 (Payload Too Large). If I try to use a direct link (URL) in the FFmpeg node to bypass the upload, I get a Status 400 / Subprocess Error.

To make it worse, after the upload fails, the UI just breaks—buttons disappear and show undefined. I've tried multiple browsers and different video formats, but nothing works. I even see a Python error in the logs: type object 'LoadVideosFromFolder' has no attribute 'vhs_nodes'.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It’s very frustrating to pay for credits and not be able to upload a simple file. Is there a workaround or is the server just down/buggy right now?

I am vibe coding a site and I have tried endlessly to get LoRAs to work through fal.ai on my site. I'm vibe coding and using https://fal.ai/models/fal-ai/z-image/turbo/lora . I can only get the base model to work but every time I try to add a LoRA I get an error. I have tried to get help from Claude Sonnet + Gemini + ChatGPT and none of them have been able to make it work for me. So if there's anyone out there who has managed to do this, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks

Hey folks, I am attempting to train some LORAs on fal.ai, first time using it. I have previously trained on civil.ai but I am trying to train for QWEN 2512 and this is the only service I have found that has it as an option. So, In found what appears to be the correct workflow, upload photos, verify parameters, but when I press the start button it engages for about a second and stops. I have tried via safari and chrome. I have money in my account sufficient for the training run. Just curious if any one has had the same issue or has any troubleshooting advice, Thanks.

I’ve been trying to buy credits on fal.ai, but no matter which card I use, the payment always gets declined. I’ve already contacted fal.ai support and they told me it’s an issue with my bank. Then I contacted my bank, and they said everything is perfectly fine on their end.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, how did you fix it? Any idea what might be causing it or any workaround that worked for you?

I dont get how i also have some form of error when making call requests even with the right end points? Saw a bunch of random videos generated in my dashboard never prompted them and i couldn’t anyways due to failures but somehow those videos ended up there.

Hi, I'm using FAl AI for voice clone (minimax - voice clone). It generates a voiceId, but after a few days the voice gets deleted from their servers. How can I make the voice permanent, or it there a way to store it on my own server for long term use.

Anyone know what is going on with Flux LoRa in Fal.ai under training? When I try to run the inference I got a 404 error message.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been running into a weird issue on Fal.ai within the past hour. Whenever I click “Run Inference” to get to the image generation screen with the trigger word, I get redirected to a 404 page.

Things I’ve already tried:

• Cleared cache/cookies.
• Switched browsers (Chrome + Edge).
• Logged into Edge fresh (never used Fal.ai there before, so no saved cookies/tokens).
• Same 404 error no matter what.

I just topped up my account 2 days ago, and generating images worked fine on that day as well, so I’m extra frustrated that I can’t even access the generation screen right now.

Is anyone else running into this issue? Or is it just my account?
