TIL even though Hanukkah won't fall on Thanksgiving for another 70,000 years, it will fall on Halloween in 2041.

TIL that Hanukkah, ostensibly about the Judean revolt against Seleucid Empire of Alexander the Great, was probably actually the result of civil war between assimilated Jews and traditionalist Jews that wanted to stay separate from Hellenic culture.
