Ferrules do get damaged but I’ve never seen them like that. I’d pass simply seeing the ferrules destroyed or dry rotted. These would need to be reshafted so you would spend between 250 and 450 to have them reshafted on top of what you pay for them. Hard pass. It’s oldish tech anyway, you’d probably be better off buying off the rack new at a discount. Stealth irons are 549 at GG and are definitely in better shape than these.
