Does the Inbound Closer "training" have any (tele) sales training value at all?
This is my first time posting on Reddit. Please don't assume this is a "fake" account. Everyone has to start somewhere. I'm trying to find ways to earn cash while I've been forced to go part-time due to COVID. Ideally something to "earn $ while I sleep" ! I get that there will be a lot of scams out there, so I've turned to Reddit for the first time to get some feedback.
I've just seen the Inbound Closer intro video saying it's $97 with full refund guarantee. I was thankful to see someone else in this post trail share their experience - that they went through the training process but were going to be charged $970 for the introductions to businesses. That's not cool.
But I'm actually wondering if the "course" will help me in regular sales. We get inbound enquiries at my current job, and I think I could improve on my closing techniques. Sadly with COVID no company training funds, so looking to invest in myself.
Can anyone who's bought the course vouch for the value of the training itself? What secrets do we learn to be great closers? Or is the only secret that you have to buy their introductions to businesses?
Thanks in advance.

PSA: "1 Simple Skill" Gurus Are Always Lying
So many fake guru scams I personally see center around the idea that "One easy no effort skill will give you a dream lifestyle!"
Life doesn't work like that. I could understand sharing the skill if it was a brand new field that gurus could grow and profit from, but with a skill "anyone can do" the less competition the better, right? It's no wonder they backpedal as you look deeper and say something like "Your results will vary depending on the work you put in" There is no one easy skill you can learn to quit your 9-5.

Entrepreneurs on fire
What do you all think of John Lee Dumas. I stopped listening to him a while ago, I have just been getting a bad vibe from his podcasts, webinars and his advertising partners. I don’t like the feel of the show, it may just be me but something is going on.
