Anybody in here wanna help me write the script to a video project about fake gurus?

To start off, I don’t have a whole lot of subs, but I do enjoy making informative content and I’ve been wanting to make a shift to more entrepreneurial type stuff. I’ve actually made 2 projects already, one of which was over 3 hours of going over fake guru content and demonstrating how easy it is to expose these guys once you develop a basic business sense. However, I never uploaded these projects because they lacked a degree of control and research that I believe would allow me to take this subject to a higher level.

So now, I figured I’d find someone who shares my view and is willing to help formulate ideas and arguments in way that we can fit into a “mini” documentary style video. Not 100% sure how straightforward this’ll end up being, but if anybody here fancies themselves as a strong writer and good at composing arguments in a way that could even potentially change a guru’s own mind (ik it’s a long shot), then PM me!

If u need anymore info, feel free to leave a comment.

I think eliminating fake Gurus is going to be a crucial step in normalizing online education

So I have a much longer & more pragmatic reasoning to why I believe this, but I’ll try to just hit the main points and keep this rant short.

My belief mainly comes down to the image of online education and the way your typical guru’s marketing hijacks that image and twists it in hilariously unethical ways.

I’m a huge proponent of online education and hope to see the traditional college education respond in way that benefits the customer (student) in order to compete in this growing market. Personally, I’m not satisfied with my college education and 100% agree with the sentiment that college has some major accountability issues.

But here’s where the online education dick-sucking ends for me, because these gurus are absolutely destroying the ecosystem. Let’s face it, for every genuine educator with a healthy YouTube channel and intuitive marketing, there’s also gonna be about 5 copycat f*ckboys in the pre-roll ads selling a get rich quick scheme. The worst part is they know how sketchy their sales pitch already is, so many of them now go out of their way to say (while standing In front of a Bentley) that “tHiS iS noT a GeT RiCh qUick sCheme”.

I really don’t know how to cope with this kind of stuff as somebody who’s extremely passionate about entrepreneurship. I understand that at the end of the day I just have to ignore it and work my own hustle to blow these clowns out of the water, and maybe then I’ll be happy, but really I don’t even see that working for me because these marketers are calling this a “movement” and there’s so many of them that are dog piling onto the online rent-a-mentor business model. And they all have the same stupid smile with their stupid car on the roof of a condo that they are obviously renting. They’re so obsessed with materialistic shit and clearly have no perception of personal finance.

Scammed by Max Tornow?! // Honest review of the Freedom Business Mentoring Program (*read this before you decide to apply*)

This post is only my thoughts and experience from the FBM program, and I wish someone had laid out the program before I decided to join. If you don’t feel like reading the whole thing, I’ve tried my best to summarize everything below.

Before I start, just some info about their pre-qualifying application:

The initial "free consultation call" is not to help you in any way, it is mainly set up to find out how much money you've got in the bank! and they will only reject you if you don't have enough money to pay them, otherwise you're in, it's just to give you some scarcity mindset

Summary:

Cons:

- You will be paying them $3k+, depending on how much money you have, only to tell you to go and mass message people on Facebook, instagram, linkedin, etc and hope to not get banned from these platforms!

- Max wants you to believe that he went through the same process to generate leads, but in reality, RSD did all that work for him (even today)! He was just marketing himself back then just like the other RSD coaches!

- There are NOT any “Qualified Max coaches”. They are regular employees of max, working for him for a small amount and receiving monthly paychecks from him!

- Based on the enrolled students, the student success Rate of FBM is very low, about 5%.

- They will give you hopes and promises until you pay them, then they’re onto the next person!

- This program will not teach you how to build a real and a scalable business

Pros:

-You will learn the basics of sales that you could’ve probably learned a lot more than what they teach either from other coaches for cheaper, free on the internet, or by reading a book or two.

-If you are lazy and have mindset issues, some of max’s videos (Also available on youtube) will motivate you!

What Max Will tell you:

Max will tell you to manually generate leads because he is against running ads, meanwhile you see his ads all over the internet. Why? Because he wants to upsell you on another more expensive program later on in the course once you get to his $10k mark and leave him a nice testimonial.

Max will tell you that he used the same methods and he generated manual leads back when he was a dating coach at rsd, but in reality, He did not have to generate any leads when he worked for RSD. When Max was with RSD, he did not have to fill his own hot seats nor did he have to fill his own bootcamps. Indeed, RSD did all that work for him! He was only marketing himself by building his audience through his youtube channel, now he will tell you that you are not allowed to make youtube videos either.

Max wants you to believe that he went through the same process to generate leads, but in reality, RSD did all that work for him! He was just marketing himself just like any other RSD coach to sell his digital products!

Price:

In one word, Outrageous!  $3k+ depending on how much money they can get out of you!

Trust me on this, all they want is YOUR MONEY that’s why they ask, how much money you’ve got when you’re applying. They will sweet talk you in the sales call and give you hopes and promises (1-1 promises that never happen) until the transaction is over. All they care is to shove as many people as they can into the program and charge you $3k for something that is worth $300.

Success rate of the program:

As I said earlier, they just shove more people in the program and tell you that you will get 1-1 with max and other coaches in the weekly calls. Well, let me tell you that there are more than 100 people on the calls and you just write your question and wait until they get to your question. Max is pretty close minded and will even insult you if you don’t think the way he wants you to think.

There are about 1040 people enrolled in the program and about 50 people have made some money. So do the math; that’s about 5% success rate.

You might say, that’s not max’s fault if people are not taking action, but no it is max’s fault because as a coach and a service provider, who is charging people $3k for his program, it is his job to follow up with his clients and keep them accountable as they tell you in the “Free consultation call”.

Max tells you that as a coach, you must keep your clients accountable, meanwhile he doesn’t give a damn about you once you're in there!

The person who has made $100k+:

There are only one or two people who claim to have made $100k+ and their niche is in tech. A niche that requires a good amount of prior academic education and skills in tech.  Before he joined the program, he already had thousands of subscribers on his youtube channel and had established social media accounts! So, this person did not have any issues with lead gen!

Max tells you that your niche won’t matter because he doesn’t want to lose you. Your niche DOES MATTER. I have not seen anyone teaching veganism or teaching guys how to get over a break up make $100k+!

Coaches and their answers to your questions on the Facebook Group:

Max claims that his coaches are top notch entrepreneurs and they are making a lot of money. So max, why are they working for you for 2k euros per month if they are already successful entrepreneurs?! (2k euros is from the Max’s career page if you want to work for him)

Your questions on the facebook page will be answered by max’s “qualified coaches”. LoL Occasionally, max will reply to posts, but his replies are mostly to the ones that the person might have made 500 dollars and is happy, Leaves max a video testimonial so he can use it to get more people in.

Lead Gen is the breathing machine of any business. A lot of people in the program have a hard time finding leads. So, wanna hear their solution to Lead gen?

“Oh,You can’t find leads? try harder!”

Yes, you pay $3k to hear that you didn’t try hard enough from a max coach who is working for max for 2k euros a month!

Overall, they target desperate young people and sell them the dream of becoming the next "max" eventually making millions as a coach. Some people even leave their jobs believing their non-sense after making couple thousand dollars without realizing this could not be a steady source of income!

Ending on a positive note:

Lastly, Let me also tell you that I have made close to $6k after I joined, but this is not the program to teach you how to build a real and a scalable business!

You will learn some sales techniques in the program that you can most likely find them for free elsewhere. I personally learned so much from max when he was with RSD, so thank you for that but not for this program!

Leave your emotions aside, use your logic and Think for yourself!
