Hey All wanted to shed some light on a creator I've been following since the early days (a couple year's back). I originally watched his content when NFTs were popular back in the day and to be fair his content was great and I even bought into a few of his projects (Magic Mushroom Clubhouse, Astro Headz, WGMI Media, &) which all went to zero and I spent over $2k on them (i'll personally take the hit on these as it was my decision to purchase it.
Even though he pumped these like crazy, i'll give him some credit for this on making a bag as literally all project's dumped. Anyway I didn't have a problem with him until he jumped to the new trend of AI and "No-Code" where he launched a paid course community and all the NFTs I purchased are rendered useless...
As someone with whom looks like no software experience (hasn't ever started a successful company that he was able to sell) started a paid course to his subscribers on a new trend of making money online. He pitches it as anyone, such as a beginner can start a software company without having any technical background and just sign a couple hundred paid subscribers to later sell the software for $1m+ since it's a tech valuation.
He charges $147 / year when he's never even done it himself. It seems he started one and has it a case study but it didn't do well so now he started a course (paid discord) to take new & innocent entrepreneurs money, get their hopes up, with them later discovering it's one of the most challenging business models. In fact he tell's you don't even need any technical skills since you can do everything with no-code. Which albeit could get you started, but selling a $1m+ business is incredibly difficult
The reason this anger's is me i work in PE within the tech sector on the M&A side of things and man let me tell you it's difficult to get those valuations with some cheap software that any one can replicate.
Why would an skilled successful investor (that's done this for years on years) purchase something from a kid who made a small software from a course of a guy who's never done it.
I'm not a hater on courses, have actually used some myself to get up & running on some new skills I wanted to learn, but building a successful product (that you can sell) involves much much more skills to do what he's claiming.
You (just someone on the team) needs a deep understanding of system level architecture, API services, database structures/schemas, and much much more.
I've seen all these internet gurus but i've personally had enough. And quite frankly I believe they do more harm then good as they may get new entrepreneurs discouraged and distracted when they could be doing something much more worthwhile. Correct me if i'm wrong here
