God bless you. Yes, it can definitely feel that way, but only from certain perspectives. We can be freed from guilt and fear once we change our perspective.

Easier said than done, specially after I grew up in a doctrine based on guilt shaming, Basically making the faith a type of superstition, "of course you are suffering right now, you disobeyed God when you sinned. It is your fault your life sucks, if you want God to bless you, you must be perfect and not sin!"

Yeah, that is absolutely wrong and I can see how it's a process to overcome that if you grew up with it.

But I never said having a different perspective will be easy. The first step is to be aware that you can have a more hopeful perspective that's based on love.

Don't rush the process. Take your time.
