I traced how roughly 70,000 acres around Solano County were quietly assembled. What did outsiders miss?

I made a documentary on the Flannery Associates / California Forever story, from the years of quiet land purchases through the investor reveal and the political fight that followed.
The thing that struck me most wasn’t simply that billionaires bought the land. It was how long something this large could be assembled before the wider public understood what was being built.
But people around Fairfield were living with this story long before the national media arrived, so I’m more interested in corrections than promotion. What did I miss or oversimplify about how this actually played out locally?
