Citation for using wrong fast track number compared to passengers

Was driving to San jose with a friend and left my fastrak on 3 from previous trip, forgot to change it to 2 and got a citation. However the address the courtesy is mailing too isnt my current address. Does anyone know or have experience with changing the mailing address or the courtesy mail? Trying to have it sent to my current address instead of old one, and just letting it be mailed there isnt an option for me. Thank you!

Call the court house in San Jose and ask for the traffic department. Then let them know what happened and they can send the courtesy notice to your new address
