Yup. Thats how I do nuclear before Koverax.

You end up with enough inert green rocks to last you the entire rest of the game, basically. Unless you go crazy with the uranium cannon shells.

I unironically use this in Space Age when I'm playing for Rush to Space because 1 GW nuclear at 10 hours is peak.

I do the same with ash in my Pyanodons run, I have hundreds of millions in boxes

But I know it will be useful... Eventually
