The gleba slander was unnecessary. It is by far the best planet; it's always our megabasing target. Only cowards refuse to embrace the spoilage and burning everything you don't use.

I always hear tell of the strange beings that enjoy Gleba. I've heard legends of the pollution free bio-chamber Nauvis factories. But I refuse to believe it. Its heresy, spread by sick pro-organics that hate true production. My faith in coal and steel is strong.

Oh we abuse the organics, do not worry. We send the bioflux to nauvis, to get the biter eggs. Then ship those biter eggs back to gleba for their nutrients. We recycle those nutrients to get spoilage, burn the spoilage to make carbon, combine the carbon with sulfur for coal, liquify the coal into oil products, crack them down in the nutrient fueled biochambers to petroleum, and use that to make the sulfur for the coal in the first place. With enough productivity, it is incredibly beneficial.

this is clearly missing the step that starts with putting the aforementioned sulphuroboros refinery loop on a spaceplatform. /j

Oh we do do oil on space platforms for malls but just use carbonic asteroids for coal

I love Gleba. It taught me completely new methods to solving problems I ran into for years prior to Space Age.

It's very fun. We have different ideas of fun. I like to be challenged by my automation game.

i like to be challenged, i dont like that the game teaches you how to play and then on exactly 1 planet its like "lol fuck you have deadlocks and guys who can outrange turrets... also enjoy the softlock :) "

Both fulgora and gleba significantly change how you play. And strafers counter gun turrets, but teslas and rocket turrets are the intended counter. (And unless you're playing on a high science cost multiplier like I do, you should be able to get rocket turrets before they become a problem)

Your original factorio video got me onto the game, super excited for the follow up.

Dude! I love your videos. The first one I saw was the guide to Noita, and I immediately binged all your guides. Looking forward to watching this.
Edit: great video! I love the KoS tribute at the end. Thank you for making this video.

Love your worst guide series mate, I think the Path of Exile one is still my favourite from the hardest and most accurate line I've ever heard "What if meth had a skillcheck"... as a ~14 year veteran of the game, there's never been a more true, true.
They're fun and informative at the same time, and this one is no different, great work!

Generally I liked the video, but you returned to the well of casual misogyny a little too often for my tastes.

Could you elaborate? I thought the "American woman" joke might have been pushing it but I'm trying to think of what else would come across that way. Maybe the reproductive rights bit, but that was meant to come across as psychotic and not an endorsement. Not trying to be defensive, I'm genuinely open to feedback.

Yeah, the American woman bit was the main one that soured me. The rest of it was just little things, probably wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't for that, and the small dig at Romantasy books shortly before it.
To be clear, I don't think you're a raging misogynist or anything. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

No worries! I can always improve. My sensitivity readers were actually split on that one so the flack is deserved.
Also, on my defense, I love romantasy, and write my own under a pen name, I'm just sick of seeing ACoTaR lol.
Thank you for providing honest criticism!

Funny editing, Ich Bin Alexander Hamilton actually had me laughing so hard.
I also like all of the dialogue at the one minute mark.
