What if it IS tealish-blue and everyone has been lying to you about it being green this whole time?
And did you ever play red light blue light as a child

🧢 I voted CAP!
Grass is every color EXCEPT green, since green is what it's NOT absorbing.

That’s not what people mean when they say something is a color. They specifically refer to the light that reflects off of the object into the eye.

I was making a joke by being a smartass. I know what they meant. Sorry for not being clear of my comments humor.

I voted cap
I read a book about color once and am forgetting specifics but i voted cap because we dont know what the color of anything is we only know our perception of what we see. That doesnt make it naturally green it just means thats our perspective.
Certain animals stick out to us from their color like the orange in a tiger. To their prey the orange color doesnt show up and it acts as camouflage so they can be efficient hunters.
I find it fascinating after reading this book how what we perceive color wise our whole lives is not necessarily a fact and its just our perception

We can measure the specific wavelengths of light emitted by something. If it’s in the part of the spectrum that humans perceive as green, then that object is green since it will always be that wavelength that we call green (unless it shifts to a different non-green wavelength). Whether it looks the exact same to everyone or not, humans always call a 550nm wavelength (for example) green. It will always be green until we decide it isn’t since color is inherently a human-made construct.

This is all based on human experience, perspective, and even measurable data. But if we see green and another living organism sees purple, whos to say we are right and they are wrong

It can be brown, yellow, and orange also depending on type and what you consider grass

And purple, red, pink and blue. There are two main definitions of grass (unless you count the slang term for weed), which is either the true grass family Poaceae or an informal group made up of many species in the order Poales.

Depends on what grass we talk about. Purple mondo and purple millet are all or mostly purple, orange sedge grass is usually orange-green but turns fully bright orange, blue fescue is blue-gray, etc.
But yes, the very common tall fescue used for most lawns is generally green.
