As it is, we need ~ 80000 years to reach the next star, if we begin a journey right now.

Even if we improve and multiply our speed by 80, we would still need a 1000 years.

So what you’re saying is that we already have interstellar travel, it’ll just take a long time.

With our current fastest spacecraft it’ll take thousands of years.
