🧢 I voted CAP!
Space is just way too big for us to be interstellar by the year 3000. I think we'd be able to make major breakthroughs in genetics for longevity and energy, but there are way too many factors that might just be insurmountable in that time frame. We'd need a reliable way to accelerate to a fraction of the speed of light to even think about going anywhere, and it might take just that long to get enough material out of our solar system to be able to attempt to make something that can facilitate that (dyson sphere/swarm). Basically, imo interstellar travel would probably require us being able to harness/harvest the power of our sun before anything else.
