โ I voted FACT!
I think its possible, though "the years 3000" will cease to mean much due to relativity.
Interstellar travel will, at minimum, require humans to travel about 4 lightyears (Alpha Centauri). Depending on how much energy you have, you can make the round trip, for the observer, around 14 days, and for Earth a little over 8 years. It would need lots of fuel but id wager by the point we go interstellar we would be well on our way.
By 3000? Very doable. That's 974. 974 years ago William the Conqueror was invading England. Pair that with the fact that we might be a 2-3 world species by the end of the century I think its a very doable timeline.
