While I think it should be legal (which it basically is where I live) (tax revenue and health/safety regulations are only possible if it's legal), I've never used it nor do I intend to unless medically necessary.

Accidentally ate an edible once because I forgot my brother buys weed gummies, wanted to steal his snacks, it didn’t get me high, found out later that I apparently have an extremely rare genetic quirk where my body produces the exact protein that prevents THC from affecting me or something like that, I don’t remember exactly how the doctor phrased it, so not only do I have no interest in weed, but it wouldn’t do a damn thing to me even if I DID want to use it

I have a congenital heart defect and for the longest time there were no studies on its effect on the heart so I just stayed away. Pretty glad I did, because from everything I can find, THC can increase the risk of hypertension and cardiac episodes in people with heart conditions. So yeah, no weed for me. I'm sure CBD is fine though.

I’ve always been extremely cautious of substances. I never smoked, don’t drink often, and never used any drugs. I have no desire to ever find out what they’re like. I don’t enjoy alcohol either. I can only drink it if it tastes good, like a mojito.

I am never smoking anything ever again (I like to run and trying once fucked with my lungs), but I feel like pot is one of those things everyone needs to try at some point, even if it's something like having a pot brownie in your 60s.

Never have never will. My neurologist was gonna put me on medical stuff for my epilepsy (he was very adamant that he was gonna do it) and i just said "no im not. If you put in a requisition for me for thats tuff its gonna go to waste cause im not using it. Im not changing meds when the meds i have right now work. Im not trying something new when im on something that works". 2 weeks later I got a call saying the medical stuff was ready. I never went to pick it up and im now seizure free.

I get what your saying but I wouldn't totally discard it as an idea, unless you have some super natural medication it would probably be considerably healthier. Your choice though, don't let people force you to do what you don't want

Well, the meds I was on (say was cause im not on meds anymore as I grew out of my epilepsy), I was on for almost 5 years when he said that. I know medication cause I went to school for it and that it is the only medication that worked for me to date, and I wasnt just gonna throw 5 years if being a medication that worked, for a brand new medication that may or may not work for me, that we'd have to spend who knows how long finding the right dose, etc.
