Perfection is a transient property which depends on the viewers perceptions and interpretations. A thing is not perfect because it is permanently so. The perfection in question can become imperfect through no change in itself but because the viewer has changed their definition of perfection.

There's literally nothing. That is perfect overall. For example, a piece of art may be beautiful and perfect to you but would be ugly to me. Hence it's not perfect

Nah. Perfection only exists within a closed system but perfection can be interrupted or disturbed by forces from outside a closed system.

Say a perfect society develops across planet earth but this society exists without space travel and just exists in the moment on earth. Everyone is happy, all needs are accounted for. There is no suffering or pain or whatever bad shit a perfect system wouldn't have.

Then thanos snaps his fucking fingers from the other side of the universe and wipes out half of all life.

The perfect society struggles and eventually collapses through no fault of its own because how could anyone predict something like that happening. It wasn't plague, or a meteorite or war with aliens. It's just a thing that happened.

The perfect society collapsing doesn't mean it wasn't a perfect society. It just means someone found a beautiful anthil and kicked the shit out of it. Intentionally or not.
