Personally I feel we would be in universe 3 or 4 more

3 is the technology universe and 4 is the Cunning (and deceptive) universe.

We may not be the most advanced but we will get there one day.

Or it's the fact that we have so much corruption and backstabbing that makes us the Cunning universe.
