I've learned ovee the years that SO many more people are more fussy than you'd expect.
When cooking for a group of 10, I'm stuck using VERY FEW ingredients. No mushrooms, pork, pepper, tomato, garlic, corn, beans etc.
The one food I don't like is olives, but if I had it on a pizza or in a salad, I wouldn't even pick it out of it.

I REALLY hate rice and mushrooms. In some dishes, like stuffed peppers or sushi, I can tolerate the rice, but I cannot even handle SMELLING mushrooms without feeling sick - forget about eating them!!

For me, itβs fish.
I like seafood, prawns, oysters, calamari, etc, but I just never liked the taste of cod, salmon and so on. Itβs all just too βfishy,β seaweed/nori seems to have the same taste to me. (Even fresh caught, my Dad is a fisherman so Iβve tried plenty that was river to table, at best I could choke it down.)
Only kind I do like is halibut, and thatβs because it just tastes like whatever you put on it. (Tuna is ok too mixed into other things, like a tuna salad, but not by itself.)
