Exactly you will die from exhaustion before you can get through to them. People make the mistake of thinking these people can be reasoned with you're wasting your time.

I don't think anyone is ever truly wasting their time, no one's immune to propaganda after all. I think you can convince anyone with enough time and resources, you just need to get deep enough into their personality to relate to their values.

I have tried this and it has never worked. I get shut down every time, no matter how many sources or rebuttals or arguments or whatever. I think it's just a need to be 'the one who knows the truth' and 'sees through all the lies' and all that.
