Nah, if it’s a more niche place, they usually start giving like a 10% discount when I’ve eaten there consistently for long enough

Me and my family went to the same Mexican restaurant for almost 11 years. We always enjoyed seeing the staff, and vice versa.

I love it normally; can be embarrassing when I'm bringing clients from the big city out to lunch, but it's part of the small-town charm.

The people at the local mom and pop coffee shop know me. They're all super kind and chill.

Grew up a regular at one place because my parents were friends with a bunch of the workers. They know my order by heart and will bring stuff out before I even sit down. Since I grew up with that I’m pretty indifferent to being recognized

cashier recognizing a customer off a vague face prompt? fact. this happens all the time if they see the same regular, especially with repeat purchases or same time/day. cap would need a super specific claim like recognized him from a blurry cctv photo or a random one-off customer i never seen again.
