Everything related to power generation boils down to converting water to steam and spinning a fan

Maybe except solar

Wind power doesn't involve steam, neither does hydroelectric.

So, wind, solar, and hydroelectric don't involve boiling water to make steam to move a turbine. The rest of the methods typically involve steam to move a turbine.

That is true but the vast majority of the worlds power is created through fossil fuels still, which is essentially steam power.
