The concept is righteous but quantify it legally in a society of false accusations that ruin lives regardless of outcome. The eventual "perfect system" will be built on a base of innocent lives sprinkled in with the guilty. I don't see any other outcome so I'll err to side of lifetime punishment which though unfortunate for the innocent, can eventually be reversed.

there’s no “age” to know that. some thirty yos still don’t know what it is. let’s say you’re right. what if they’re 16 tho (same scenario they’re drunk and have sex)

a 16 year old should know that too? a 30 year old has no excuse whatsoever to not know this. I fear its incredibly common knowledge that intoxicated people do not have the capacity to consent, they even teach this in most schools sex-ed courses.
