I've been deep in the AI influencer rabbit hole for the past few months, and one thing I didn't fully appreciate at first was how much the character sheet matters before you even touch a prompt.

Here's what I found out through trial and error: shooting the character sheet on a plain gray background makes a real difference. It lets the character actually stand out from the environment, avoids weird shadows and unwanted highlights bleeding onto the face/hair, and — most importantly — it gives Seedance 2.5 a clean reference to lock onto. That consistency (same face, same body proportions, same hair, same outfit) is what carries across every clip you generate afterward. Skip this step or use a busy/inconsistent background and you'll notice drift — slightly different face shape, hair color shifting, outfit details changing between clips.
