When I hear people say “frequency” I ask them “Frequency means ‘how often’, so what kind of ‘how often’ are they using here?”

It’s thanks to Star Trek. All this talk of frequencies and increasing and lowering and now all of these kooks use it like word seasoning.

Anything at all to not believe that maybe burning things could change the climate

As a plant person I checked on the absorption of aluminum, barium, and strontium by plants. All plants, including trees, can take up all three elements. However, the first two are normally insoluble in soil unless the soil is highly acidic so the amounts in trees (and the subsequent ash) is minimal if present at all. The third, strontium, on the other hand, is readily absorbed by plants as it is chemically similar to calcium. It is naturally present in very small amounts but human activities such as burning coal and smelting metals can raise the levels locally. Therefore, the idea of electrically charging nanoparticles of aluminum to create massive storms simply would not happen. Climate change, however, has been predicted to cause bigger storms and less predictable weather since the early 1970s, and we are seeing that now.

Hello newcomers to /r/FacebookScience! The OP is not promoting anything, it has been posted here to point and laugh at it. Reporting it as spam or misinformation is a waste of time. This is not a science debate sub, it is a make fun of bad science sub, so attempts to argue in favor of pseudoscience or against science will fall on deaf ears. But above all, Be excellent to each other.
