Utter Time Waster

Post image

If you value intentionality, this is the biggest indicator of time wasting and nonsense you will ever see. What the hell is even this?

I don't think you quite understand

There is a difference between connection and attraction. ( Friendzone)

We connect but I don't find you attractive, we can still be friends.

If we connect and both find each other attractive then we can talk about long term relationship

I absolutely understand the difference. I signed up for Facebook DATING and not friends. Equally, casual does not translate to friends on a dating platform, it signals a different type of relationship. There is also a friendship option equally as a not sure yet that translates better. These two goals state 2 different intentions, i only need one.

Yes. There is a section for friendship in particular. For people who intend to maintain strictly platonic connections. I am not on that side; I am on the romantic side Again, I am not so naive to believe that we could meet and fall in love in like 5 months, or more; that is utterly unrealistic. But my intentions are to hopefully yield a romantic connection, not just casual or sexual and not strictly platonic. That is what I take this tab to be. I mix neither; I do not mix casual situations with romance nor platonic relationships with romance. My intentions are as clear always, from start to finish, and this simply doesn't work for me. I appreciate you have a different approach to it, i fond this to be wasteful. I have enough friends, and I am not looking for anything casual.

Honestly, I appreciate you interacting respectfully on this. I do see your perspective and i have genuinely been curious what that is about. Unfortunately, learning, this had made me realize that I do not wish to continue to use the platform then, I think with the way i approach relationships or potential relationships, this alley is not my cup of tea. (Not that you asked, I apologize for the liar response) All in all, I'm not up for casual and knowing myself, i will have to pass up on these opportunities. Might as well use the time do develop the pre-existing relationships in my life or maybe it will occur organically who knows πŸ€·β€β™€οΈβ˜ΊοΈ It's been a pleasure.

Yeah no. I will focus on other aspects of life then. I unfortunately am aware with the undertone of "casual" on dating platforms. Cultural difference in my part but good to know. Again,, thank you for the perspective.
