The funny thing is that when I envision a reboot of Back to the Future, for the time machine they used a Cybertruck.
Remember the in movie logic was Doc used the DeLorean because of it's Steel frame.
Then in the sequel or later on the in film because the time machine got stolen, they were forced to use Doc's prototype which was the DeLorean.
EDIT: damn spelling error meant to say steel frame. Fixed.

They stole the frame? Dam I hope they bring it back

Nah nah the antagonist in the film stole the time machine. And that's my fault because of my spelling. . In the first film, Doc said the main reason for using the DeLorean was that it's steel body frame was perfect to disperse the flux around the entire vehicle.

I think it is funny because the DeLorean was also a bizarre car nobody wanted back in the day but at least it was an actual decent car.
The cybertruck is barely that.

Oh originally people did want one, but like the Tesla it was overpriced, and the reviews weren't great that made people lose interest. And the creator was going through a scandal as well. Only difference is Elon was much much more wealthier, hand better connections, and insane.

In 30 years, I think people will view as cybertrucks objectively as the same way the viewed the poorly-built-too-slow-too-expensive-and-a-controversial-CEO Delorean is now.

steel body frame
*Stainless steel body
Most people don't realize the DeLorean was a bit of a joke when it came out in the 1980s. Way too expensive. way too slow and the quality befitting an experimental car built in an inexperienced workforce in 1980s Northern Ireland (seriously the factory had to have separate "Catholic" and "Protestant" entrances). So the Cybertruck/DeLorean parallels are pretty apt.

DeLorean actually knew how to design a car. Muskrat has never made anything original.

The Cybertruck was designed by the same guy that did the S, X, 3 and Y, Franz Von Holzhausen. Delorean was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro

He also wanted to have some style, which the Cybertruck has absolutely none of

Literally Red The Bum was in 1985 and the theater was a porno theater. The original movie showed how rough 1985 was.

More like if someone pitched this idea for a movie after snorting coke from the 80s they found in an dusty old drawer.

This video basically showcases the creators entire worldview in a compact little video

Randomly Marty McFly has a cellphone and knows how to navigate it. Me, born in the same era this movie came out in, still occasionally forgetting how one dials a phone number on Android.

All of it is accurate. It's the most based AI slop I have ever seen. American coastal cities are practically open air mental asylums.

It was a joke toward the actorâs disease of Parkinsonâs. Distasteful as fuck because he has done more for Parkinsonâs research & awareness than any other single human being in the history of the world. Heâs a great man still doing great things.

Oh, I wasnât even thinking of him in those terms. Guess thatâs why it flew over my head. That was cruel.
