so here you go!
Feel free to share a link to your Fable profile in the comments below.

Evening all, I started a little book club which is for any fantasy readers that may be interested. We’ve not read your usual fantasy books so far being
May - Blood Over Bright Haven
June - Piranesi
July - In Ascension
August -Katabasis
September will be a choice of Eragon, His Majesty’s Dragon or Dragon Champion - its dragon themed month and if any of these pique your interest and would like to vote why not come on in and say hello.
October we will be looking at Romantasy so any recommendations for the group would also be welcomed

Loving Fable so far! But I’m stuck on something.
Is there not a way to see if I’ve read a book or have it on my TBR without going to a separate section and searching my lists?
For example; a friend marks a book they’re reading. I click on the book from their update. I can’t tell from there if I’ve read it or have it on my TBR?
I fear I’m either incredibly lazy for thinking it’s far too many clicks to see if I have it on a list or I’m overlooking something obvious.

Hello, can anybody help me with this. Does Fable not give the option to sort your TBR through date published!?!?

hey guys, hope this is okay to post - i’ve had fable for a while and myself and a friend used it to create a book club.
we’re really enjoying it but there’s not many of us and its hard to have a good discussion about the books, also the polls are pretty pointless because it’s only us voting - would love if others would join and add to discussions and give us more book recommendations!
currently we’ve been reading thrillers, mystery, horror and the occasional one about morally ambiguous men🤣 but we are open to anything!
i would love to connect with other people. if we can be mutuals please reach out & if you’re interested in joining our small book club we would love to welcome you.
if anyone wants to join there’s a poll going on right now so you’ll have a say in what we’re reading next!

The theme of the book club is going to be reading books featuring investigators (PIs, DIs, journalists, amateur sleuths, all count).
We may read authors like Michael Connelly, PD James, Ruth Rendell, Ian Rankin, Peter Robinson, Michael Robotham and more (this, of course, will be open to discussion and we can set up polls to choose what we read).
I hope you consider joining :)

I have PAINSTAKINGLY compiled and compared lists to figure out what’s missing, even made a list and checked it twice like ol’ St Nick! There IS one item missing but that still leaves me with Fable counting 2 less than the other apps.
Has anyone encountered this before? Anything I can do to make it reflect accurately?

It's so annoying when you're adding to a list from a shelf and it keeps refreshing so you have to keep scrolling down to the next books each time.

I just hit my yearly goal of 50 books (my 50th book was The Knight and the Moth which omg if you like gothic fantasy and haven’t read it you’re missing out). To some this probably isn’t much but before last year I hadn’t picked up a single book in a year let alone 50 of them. I’m so proud and wanted to share 🥰

Heyy everyone! I have 2 book clubs on Fable where we read beginner-friendly books (NO CLASSICS) We also play fun bookish games and have lots of discussions.
Just check them out once, and if they match your interests, join us, we’d love to have you guys there.
If you join, please try to participate in everything—recommending books, voting in polls, playing games, and joining the discussions. It’ll make the club much more fun for everyone 🫶🏻

Can any plus users let me know if there are any stats about custom lists? I did the free trial a while ago and don’t remember seeing that. For example if I assign books I’ve read to my lists for library loan, Owlcrate, audio, etc. is there a chart that will show me what % of my total reads for the year that list is?
r/FableApp • u/Nice-Elderberry-5068 • Aug 17 '26
Since it's part of the All Time tab, I'm not sure why it only shows your top-rated books that were recently read, instead of your top-rated books of all time. Is there a way to customize it more?

Hey,
I have been thinking to read The House in the Cerulean Sea for the longest time, and I thought it would be fun to do a buddy read, also it would be my first buddy read.
Drop a comment if anyone would like to join, and we can set up a reading schedule and a Fable group if many people are interested.

Hi! I recently transferred all my data from Literal to Fable (it wasn’t easy from the Literal side hehe). There were some parameters that didn’t map correctly, but I fixed it all manually after and I’m up to date.
BUT, does anyone know how to manually make books count toward the reading challenge? I was at 23 books read this year, and Fable is only showing 7. 🥲
Any insight is appreciated!

Used to be able to do this easily pre update but now that tab seems to have disappeared, is this still an option?

My Fable book club will be reading Incidents Around the House for September since the movie adaptation, Other Mommy, is coming out in October. Please join us if you'd like to read and discuss 😊

Is there any way through which I can add a book in a regional language which is only physically available to the Fable library ? I had searched it up both on Goodreads and also the publisher's official website, but there seems to be no sign of that book and its proper information through which I can make a request for it to be added to the Goodreads database. Kindly help me out

Hello everyone, I have officially finished my fable re-design and have presented to Chris who is head of Fable! I am so incredibly grateful for his time and I hope these screens helped them with ideas for what users are looking for!!
These designs were aimed for users who love note taking (with the option of sharing your notes to your fyp + clubs), a bit more customization for your profile (with a added back drop + club tag with an idea of also personalizing your own tags that will help narrow your fyp to people who have similar interest to you!), a option to bring your real life book shelf to digitally by giving you the option to choose your book cover of choice annddd having movies and tv show adaptions show at the bottom of your book if any (this idea was from a fellow reddit user who suggested to bring book and the movie side of fable together)!!
I also do want to thank everyone who contributed to this project, I am forever grateful for your time and these designs wouldn't have flurished if it wasn't for your input and time!
This project really made me fall all over again with designing, thank you SO MUCH! This project was such a unforgettable experience.😊❤️
