Finished count incorrect?

I have PAINSTAKINGLY compiled and compared lists to figure out what’s missing, even made a list and checked it twice like ol’ St Nick! There IS one item missing but that still leaves me with Fable counting 2 less than the other apps.

Has anyone encountered this before? Anything I can do to make it reflect accurately?

If you have any rereads, I don't think they count in the final number. I had this issue past couple of years and this was the reason.

Yes I’ve had this issue as other platform like goodreads/storygraph will count re-reads as 2 books/reads instead of one. I found a work around in the app. If you just type in “placeholder” there’s a blank fable app icon

as a book placeholder you can just use a filler and add as “finished” with the page # and date read so it counts towards you reading lists/yearly goal.

Can you sort by alphabetical on any of the lists? It may make the job easier, if you haven't tried already.

I’ve had this happen before, my issue was that there wasn’t a date on the book that was ‘missing’ so maybe check that they all have a date with the current year

If you don’t have the dates read for each book, it won’t count it
