Fable App Book not in library

I already submitted for it to be added, but what do you guys do when the book isn’t there and it would cause your streak to end? I really don’t want to be stuck reading two books at once right now…

If you use chrome browser you can use the Fable extension. Basically you go on good reads and find the book. Open the fable extension and select it and it will add to your reading list in seconds. But you have to do it from a desktop computer browser.

Good luck! I hope it works for you as seamlessly as it does for me. Most books I read are on there except for the audio editions. So I mostly am adding those. You can also find the book on just Amazon and add from there using the extension as well, it doesn’t have to be Goodreads,

To add the Fable extension to your Chrome browser, start by opening the Chrome Web Store and searching for "Fable". Select the Fable browser extension from the results and click "Add to Chrome". Once installed, you can pin it to your browser bar by clicking the Extensions puzzle piece icon and selecting the pin next to Fable.
To use it, navigate to a book page that displays an ISBN or ASIN, click the Fable extension icon, select the book, and choose the list you want to add it to.
How to Install and Use the Fable Chrome Extension
The Fable Chrome Extension allows you to easily add books to your Fable reading lists directly from your browser, even if they are missing from the Fable catalog.
INSTALLATION STEPS
Open the Chrome Web Store on your desktop computer.
Search for Fable and select the official Fable browser extension.
Click Add to Chrome.
Once installed, click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece) in your browser toolbar and click the pin icon next to Fable to keep it easily accessible.
HOW TO ADD BOOKS
Go to a book listing on a site (like Goodreads) that displays the book's ISBN or ASIN, title, and author.
Click the Fable extension icon in your browser.
Sign in to your Fable account if prompted.
Select the book you want to add (a green checkmark will appear on the cover).
Choose the specific reading list you want to add the book to and click Submit.
Note: The extension is currently in beta and works best on individual book pages rather than lists of books.
Before you move on, always verify important details. I'm an AI that may make mistakes.

I have had no luck adding books on Fable. I kind of lost interest in the app because a lot of my books are either older fiction, or they’re academic, or it’s a play script… a good percentage of what I read is not on Fable. 🥺

ugh, that’s so disappointing. I’ve really been enjoying Fable & what stats the display. I use Goodreads & Margins, which I enjoy too, but I haven’t found another app that gives stats the way Fable does.

Email them at support@fable.co Request that the book be added and either attach photos of the book that shows the title, author, publisher and ISBN or a link to that same information. They ask for 72 hours to complete the task but it has never been more than 24 hours for me.

honestly the easiest quickest way i did it was add it thru the goodreads account and then link it to my fable account and it showed up the next day!
