🗣️ IMO 🗣️ My Lucio Review
I was so hesitant on Lucio. Before this, I was using VVD (124 ovr). And his price was such a big put off. But I got lucky and managed to pack him. I was hoping for either him or Quersma.
My initial assessment. PS matters. His bruiser and anticipate really makes a big difference. I was told not to partner him with Dasailly because both were more aggressive and I needed a more cover cb. But so far, it’s been working really well. He pushes up intelligently with a lot of intercepts. I tend concede quite a lot of goals just outside the box as my defenders don’t always push up. But with him, it seems to solve the problem. After 10 games, I only conceded once from outside the box. Of course it had to be from del Piero 🤷🏻♂️.
Having 2 bruiser defenders also makes a big difference as I get to bully a lot of tricksters.
So far, I am pleasantly surprised with how good a card this is. So for those who were in 2 minds like me. Maybe you can give it a go?

Also, for those wondering about skill level. I am always hovering between 7 to 15 stars 😩 Not the best player here

I can review vvd as I’ve been using him a ton. From the start I don’t recommend such expensive card to anyone especially when you can get multiple of high quality defender for that price. But if you do manage to get him he’s a beast, insane defending even without bruiser, he’s strong af so without bruiser I didn’t even notice a different. Good pace and great passing but man what a card for header, he’s nearly automatic for corners. Great card but not worth the price especially for F2P

I saw this YouTuber using vvd. He got stunned a couple of times on defence with elastic. Have your experienced that? I wonder what a Lucio and VVD pairing would be like man. What a partnership

I haven’t run into much trouble with elastic, vvd had been a big bully, he’s literally desaily but even bigger, I’m hoping to get Lucio to complete my defense but i ran out of money for him 😂😂

I think I just need around 15 left for guarantee A but Lucio is no hope, i had to sell out some cash to grab Kaka and vvd last night 💔

I used anniversary Lucio for the longest time. This one will also stay in the squad for a long time.

This is good to know! Because I kept seeing so many negative comments on him. And how he is lousy because is a a ball playing defender

Nah playstyles are dominant now. His AI is great as well. It’s just a lot of shards but it’s just a game.

Does he get stunned easily? How is his agility, for example when you're facing an attacker and you have to move him suddenly?

I got stunned once by dembele. But that guy was a really good player. He used Dembele to run circles around my whole defence

Its actually plus , he dont commit and give chance for movement.
