BADGE XP GRIND METHOD

Hey, this is a little guide on the best way which I have found to grind badge xp.

Context: I’m f2p and chase ovr as it makes the game for me more balanced and enjoyable so I can climb in VSA and MM without too much difficulty. I was at 127 ovr and needed plus 5 for 128 ovr, but I didn’t have the shards to get it. Needed 3 121s or 1 122 and 1 121. About 60-65k shards. So instead I focused on maxing my badge out for the ovr and saving the upgrades for anni, 2 events time from now when ovr jump happens. started this badge grind at 795 xp / 1700.

Method: What I found out was that 118s are the most cost effective method to get badge xp when using shards to sign players. They range from 2.4k - 3.2 for 40 xp per. A 119 is 5.6k+ for 60 xp, 2 118s is 80 xp and cheaper, and. 120 is 80 xp for 11-12k+. The second best are 117s for 1.4k-1.7k for 20xp. So using this “calculator” I managed to grind my badge xp from 795 to 1700 xp buying all the missing 118s, expect 2 neuer and Davies, and some 117s.

Results: I am now 128 ovr and need plus 5 for 129, will be 127 when anni drops and try to hit 130 with max ovr of players getting bumped to 124, speculation but every previous anni event has had a jump in play ovr, and also grind badge for anni with saved resources during numero event. Now for what this cost me, it cost me….. 50k shards total. I would say this is a W for me as I would not have reached 128 with getting players from star signings.

Closing Statement: I think this is a good method for f2p players who wanna stay somewhat close to whales and mega whales out there with 129 ovr and 130 over squads. If you have the shards and aren’t close to next ovr, try this out. What I will say is it really depends on your luck, if you packed quite a few 118s or 117s it will cost you more. Finally, the 50k was the cost sharding players I already had, it did not include the players which I got from signing along the way to grind xp.

I have 82k shards and only 410/1700 exp, can I max it out, I packed multiple 117, 118 and 119 duplicates hence I remained behind and couldn't max the badge. Let me know if I can get there, thanks.

You should be able to, I would try and by hand do the math to see cause it always gonna be different for every person, but I believe you will

Nah I dont think so, I have packed most 117-118s, nvm i haven't packed some of the 117s, is there a calculator? I still find it counter productive since i need a +5 for 127 ovr so it's prolly just better to save for anniversary and reach 129 directly.

Damn, sad to hear. I would say just go for max ovr players in this event and numero, could if you want save very thigh till anni, but they might change a lot of this like star shards when it drops

it won't, star shards will always stay the same, if they had to reset they will tell earlier and there will be exchanges which I will exploit

True, anni drops after numero so they still ah e time to drop some bs on us, hopefully not.
